Getting there is easiest by train from any Sydney station.
Parking is available at the ferry wharf for the duration of camp. No fees.
Steps & info for both options below.

Please follow the instructions below to get to camp.

Friday 24th January 2019 –
Step one:
Catch the train to Hawkesbury Station.
From Central the LAST POSSIBLE train you can be on is at 2:45pm. The trip takes Aprox. 60 minutes. Use this link to plan your trip ahead of time.
Check NSW transport for any interruptions to service. 

Drive to Hawkesbury Station.
Check google maps for driving times allow for 2 hours from Sydney’s CBD, just in case. Free unlimited on street car parking at Hawkesbury train station and surrounds.

Step two:

4:00pm boarding commences at BROOKLYN WHARF.
Ferry departs promptly at 4:30pm.
Do not miss the ferry.
Do not arrive at its departure time as 100 people need to board.
Be prepared for boarding at 3:30pm.

Step three:
Return travel will be the same in reverse.
Boarding Sunday 3:30pm at the Beach, departing 4:00pm.
Allow for 30 mins travel time to Brooklyn Wharf.
Trains depart Hawkesbury Station for Central at 53 past each our on Monday (Public Holiday timetable).


Please read carefully:
Camp venue is only accessible by water.
There is only ONE AGIG ferry departing the mainland on Friday.
There is only ONE AGIG ferry departing the beach on Monday.
This costs $49 per adult return – we have pre booked on your behalf and included in your ticket price.

No public ferries available at any other times.

There are NO REGULAR FERRIES or scheduled public transport to and from the camp.

You will need to utilise a Hawkesbury Water Taxi.
Water Taxi’s are an independant contractor that you need to organise and pay for personally/not included as an AGIG service. Refunds are not extended for anyone that does not utilised the ferry.

The punt is available to carry vehicles such as camper vans to the beach.
Limitations apply on load size.
$400 each way. Tide depending.

The Beach is accessible only by boat.
You cannot drive directly to the Beach.
Closest parking is Hawkesbury Station, NSW (1 hr north of Sydney’s CBD).
Leave your car at free parking at Hawkesbury station or catch the train to the station.
The rest of the trip must be completed by chartered ferry which we have booked & paid for on your behalf.
